Sister Raphael, who works with the Sydney Archdiocesan Tribunal Office will celebrate the 60th anniversary of her profession this year. Sr Raphael was the Principal of St Patrick's for 20 years.

In addition to some very talented students over our near-ninety year existence, St Patrick's are proud to have had some talented teachers. Our current teaching and administrative staff are no exception.

NEIL BRIDGE, GENERAL MANAGER

Neil joined St Patrick’s Institute of Education as General Manager in January 2010.  Previously he was Managing Director of a consultancy company specialising in vocational education. With nine years experience as Managing Director of a Registered Training Organisation, Neil has a background in providing a broad range of accredited training to business, government and the community sector.

Prior to 1998, Neil held a number of senior executive positions in both the NSW and Commonwealth Government departments including Premiers’ Department, Employment and Industrial Relations and NSW Police. He had executive responsibility for strategic planning, policy and programs, audit and evaluation services, marketing and media and corporate services.

Neil is able to bring a range of experience and insights into how organisational improvements can be made.  He is also highly skilled in managing educational organisations focussed on high quality learning outcomes

Neil

ANNE FAIRHALL, DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION


Anne Fairhall’s association with St Patrick’s started as a student in 1974.  In 1976 she returned as a trainee teacher and started teaching Pitman Shorthand in 1977.  Anne left St Patrick’s in 1982 to have the first of her two sons in 1983 and the second in 1985.  Her second son is also an ex-student of the college, having completed the Diploma of Hospitality Management in 2001.
 
Anne returned in 1986 and has remained ever since.  ‘I have seen the college evolve and change so much over the past 30 years and am very glad to have played a large part in that change.  The courses offered now to students are so comprehensive, and they leave us with such a wealth of skills to equip them for the future.’
 
Anne holds a Degree in Adult Education and is a Fellow of the Commercial Education Society of Australia.  She was also the Chair for the Fairfield Business Education Partnership for 5 years which is a body that links schools with vocational training and industry.

ROBYN PULSFORD
MANAGER ADMINISTRATION AND COMPLIANCE

Robyn has been with SPIE since 2010 and has over 20 years experience in project management primarily in the financial industry.  

Robyn’s career includes a role with the National Regulator for Registered Training Organisations and her teaching work has taken her to some exciting and rewarding experiences. These include volunteering in South America for 6 months and employment as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in Europe.

Robyn has completed various courses in Finance, Accounting, Project Management and is currently studying for her Diploma of Management.
